That ain't the issue.
You don't seem to be able to keep you limited attention span on the issue. Witness the original assertion:

You are the one who have been off in a tangent. The issue was not primarily Lincoln's point of view, or his preferences in war and peace although that is interesting in itself. The issue was what the war was about, and as I have shown, even Lincoln agreed that the Civil War was about slavery.
