as i recall they are not open directly to retail, but rather operate like DFA, the "Cadillac" of index funds, which can only be bought through an RIA (Registered Investment Advisor). the caveat to working with an RIA, imo, is that it's another cost layer. they often have a minimum investment, like 250K, and may charge 1% or so on assets under mgmt for the first mil or two.

If you do call, would you please post whatever information you get from them, like minimum investment required, fees, expense ratio and so on? Thanks...
