So he tried to take advantage of Davis' unpopularity and become governor himself. Big deal.

It is a big deal. Its costing the state of CA $70 million because he was trying to do an end run. That's a $70 million debt you'll help to pay off.

People signed the petitions not because they wanted Issa in, but because they wanted Davis out. That's why it was a mistake to constantly attack Issa, IMO.

People in CA signed the petitions because they basically are stupid, too lazy to find out the facts and like drama. They think its all "way cool...awesome...over the top"!

The figure is now up to $70M, according to Davis himself. Of course, it's still chump change compared to the $38B deficit that he himself helped to create. And besides, Issa wasn't the one who "screwed everything up," because even by your admission, CA was already screwed-up.

That's right; the cry baby is a Congressman from San Diego. What an embarrassment he is to his constituents.
