That seems to be a focus that pops up often. I think it's Jew hating in general with Israel being a focal target.

It would sure seem that way... And I'm not even Jewish...

And beyond my not being Jewish, I still believe the 1967 Israeli government authorized the attack on the liberty, and that their intelligence service knew about 9/11..

So I'm hardly someone who worships the concept of a Jewish state, or Zionism.... But I do value the concept of democracy in the region..

And besides what is Saudi Arabia but an Arab state where non-Muslims, let alone Jews, are denied citizenship??

But again... no one complains.. No one objects... They just accept and excuse.... Telling us we're not allowed to judge or influence them, or their societies..

And as a direct result, they encourage criticism of Israel and excuse the stagnation of Arab society..

But, however, as we might be seeing displayed from the words of Khomeini's grandson, maybe there is a chance of muslims understanding that it is better to have a secular government, where religion and morals fight in the background for the hearts of man...

It might be constitute the (re)birth of "freewill" within these societies... An awakening of intellectualism and cultural revitalization, but this time with more tolerance for different views..

But hey.. it could all just fail and go no where... no change.. and potentially a regional war between the Israelis and Arabs..

But that's a risk that is well worth taking because the alternative of doing nothing pretty much leads to the same result.

<I think it's Jew hating in general...>

How do you square that, with my posts in favor of Israel as the 51st State, under the protection of the U.S. army (after a Land for Peace deal, and a withdrawal to the 1967 frontiers with minor modifications)?
