Well, thanks anyway... <g>

Here's a current quote on QRACX:

finance.yahoo.com

Morningstar isn't enamored of this fund...

And the fees are rather high, in my opinion...

And they hold a ton of debt instruments. I don't see a commodity play in any of the top 25 holdings, though Morningstar classifies the fund as "Specialty- Natural Resources"...

moneycentral.msn.com

The portfolio allocation shows it as being 55.7% cash, 43.8% bonds and 0.4% "other", which I guess is where any commodities holdings might be found... The portfolio turnover rate is 49%, which means the fund is actively managed, and therefore by design will incur higher operational costs than an index fund.

Here's the fund's returns. Note the after-tax returns, presuming that your intended use of this fund will be in a taxable account.

Here's the Morningstar rankings for the fund. Note that in a bear market, this fund is (projected) in the lowest 1% decile.

Hmmm... Business Week indicates that the x-dividend date (I wonder if that's the distribution date or just an error) is 8/11, so it might be wise to wait until after any distributions so that you're not paying taxes on money you just paid into the fund...
