I agree they are all last ditch efforts to keep the
assembly lines moving. No doubt they're hoping that the
economy will recover & they can wean the public off of this
massive discounting so they can grow the bottom line.

Unfortunately, just about everyone who was thinking of
buying these last 2+ years has taken advantage of these
deep discounts. Who will they sell the non-discounted
vehicles to? What if we only get a tepid economic recovery?
