"Bush is finely and dandily running a happy, carefree world" remark that threw me. I didn't say that. In fact I'm a little troubled by how unswerving they were with this Iraq thing. NOTHING could turn them from it. Maybe 9-11 freaked Bush out or something. To be the president and have that happen would have to be very traumatic. Or perhaps there was some "secret agenda". If they had finished him in 91 we wouldn't have to go through this now and a lot less people would be dead. However to say that Saddam wasn't brutal killer and that the world is worse off without him is nonsense. If you ignore the quagmire that were in we can at least be happy about that. I side with Soros in a lot that he said and I've heard a lot of stupid crap from the right too. Anyway I'm not a die hard supporter but some of the stuff I've seen posted lately has been way over the top. I commented on a piece that was posted here because it was a piece of crap. I called it "democratic propaganda" which is what it was. It was written by a professor at caltech or somewhere. Apparently he was upset that Saddams sons were dead and said that Bush was an asassin. And said it would be the same if another head of state had Bush's daughters killed. If Rush Limbaugh had written something that ridiculous about a democrat believe me I'd be the first one to say so. I think both parties are corrupt and stupid so anybody that pushes 100% one ticket or the other is likely to draw some comments from me. Not to mention the fact that this isn't a political thread.
