All he has to do is be honest

'Zactly. The same as Dean, who is said by political engineers to be artfully "tapping into" voter preferences, but who is actually being himself for good or ill.

Arnie is the same way, he's a highly disciplined, ambitious and inspired individual who clearly loves this country and its contagious. We're at a point now where honesty is such a scarce commodity, it trumps a good deal of policy. If he's got enough decent friends and consultants he'll cause more good than harm. Basically, even with no policy change whatsoever, just as the state mascot, Arnie would improve matters. I suspect he'll be more than that.

In fact, w/o him in the race, I doubt the recall would succeed. Now, I think there's a better than even chance it will go through.

One question I wonder -- exactly where did Isa get the idea? Was that from Rove, or his own idea?
