PG, Thanks for the insight. The article did say that job creation was significantly below forecast at about 95k expected for the year. Among the businesses mentioned that are doing well but feel forced out are Verizon (call centers), Countrywide mortgage (expanding to Texas where workman's comp is about 1/4 that of CA), buck knives and a couple of others that escape me right now. The other comment that concerned me is that with policies as they are, CA's return to massive business creation are dim. I was amazed to learn that CA has the 5th largest economy on the planet.
