I read something awhile back where the author said that to follow your bliss is a more refined way of saying 'do your own thing.' And before that I read something that said do your own thing is just an update of Crowley's maxim 'do what thou wilt.'

I go with the Campbell/Rambi formulation. I really liked Campbell's idea of finding your bliss (purpose) and following it. I use it in that way, and will continue to do so.
