Hi Sarmad,

Also suggests that as the industry morphs to a more mature industry - (level and moderate growth rates) - Mergers and Acquisitions will consolidate the few big names into a few BIGGER names.

Some at bankruptcy and some leaders of their niche at premiums.

Sarmad, That's true, there are going to be winners and losers as time marches on. One good example of this is looking at the members of the Group now compared to when I first started the Group back in 1996. At that time I selected 40 companies, now through acquisitions, etc, the Group is down to its present membership of 25. This process of consolidation and elimination will undoubtedly continue in the future.

Having said that, I can't really discern much difference in measures of value the market places on the different companies today, and analyst ratings for that matter. All you have to do is look at a recent sample of prices, PE's, PEG's, and Long Term Growth in the following.

Based on the action of the Group during the past years, they tend to move in the same direction, depending on the particular phase of the growth and contraction cycle. Some move more than others, depending on their particular Beta, but that tends to "wash out" over the complete boom and bust cycle.
