Augustine is referring to "Agape" (Charity), the selfless love of God and His creation, which can only be attained by grace. Love God as you should love him, and your will will conform to His, therefore, Love and do what thou wilt.......

Also St Augustine seems to have said something similar, but with the nice addition of LOVE:< "Love, and do what thou wilt". really an excellent quote ... and your explanation of Campbell's "Follow Your Bliss" here , Message 19200130 ;-) PS: Don't let Neo fool you , he surely gets it , but is a bit distracted sometimes setting up the "New World Order" & Pax Americana ! But he's following his own Blissful agendas too in this ...hehe * I suppose Salk , Schwietzer, Hubble , Einstein for the most part , deep down.... were all following their bliss, and we are all perhaps glad too, that they did.<g>
