Sad, very sad.
So many stories like that. A friend of my wife was exited about all the money being made in the big bull. she saw what we were doing. She went to her broker and they bought some Canadian internet stock at around 38$ US it trades today around a buck. Insane and sad. Just like used car salesmen only interested in the comission and their wallets. It stinks
Why aren't there any convictions in the ENRON mess?
They are all crooks.

Oh I feel so good when I let it out.:->

Take Care
Don

The last broker I had _ who I presume has since moved to Tahiti _ clued me in on a few things. As I understand it, many brokers _ not all _ are evaluated based on their ability to sell what the firm wants them to sell. By definition, that would mean stocks that the firm does not want to carry in inventory any more.
So, if you want to move up the ladder in the firm, you have to play by their rules _ not what is in the best interest of your customer.
It really is like a car salesman. If you can sell someone a real piece of crap, then you must be a really good salesman.
Congratulations. You're our new sales manager.
Get it?
