Gotta go in a sec: You may get more satisfaction, you may get less. It is, in any case, not a matter of approaching it with the idea that one is making a sacrifice, but experiencing the upending of plans that one had been counting on, due to an emergency. That is always unwelcome, unless there is a clear benefit. Apart from that, very few people in real need care enough if one is discommoded to forego the help, though they may be sorry to disturb you........
