I am sorry that I have to go now. You have brought forward some good points and I would like to pursue them...possibly on another thread that is less politically agendized, not everything has to be filtered through pro/con Bush. Out of time...

Have Peace

Struggle is a natural part of everyday existence.

We have itsy struggles: We each struggle to move one moment into the next. I have do decide which shirt to where today, the nicer looking one that needs ironing or the one I can throw on quickly to get out of the house. It depends on many things, like what kind of day I am walking into and how I need to present myself under the circumstances. To move from the house I am going to have to face up to this shirt struggle….and so it goes throughout my day.

I could minimize the struggle by buying seven uniform outfits, but that would be silly and really would not be dealing with the reality of my experience. In my experience, I need to wear durable play cloths for some activities and other cloths that are designed to stay clean and pressed for other activities.

Attempting to avoid struggle altogether is really a negligent attitude that guarantees more serious problems down the road.

” From that position there is no moral basis to argue ANY point whatsoever.”

Actually that forms a perspective on how you take a stand to argue any point. You can except that life is a challenge and that your character will be tested moment by moment You can also, drift along in lala land pretending that life could be blissful and lovely if only, everybody else would just make nice. The nature of the world, and the human condition does not support such a notion, so I consider it a cowards excuse for not living in responsibility. Responsibility requires a principled outlook on life, a conscience about the situation you find yourself and others in, a positive regard for self and others, and the willingness to take a stand for justice in the world...a struggle that never ends.
