Tenchusatsu,
I thought I heard Ahnold say we need programs that work, so I will agree I'm for some social programs if they work and are accountable.

<begin rant>
I've always said I will help pay daycare and school and help a women get back on her feet that has made a mistake. But I'll be damned if I will sit by and pay her and her boyfriend to sit on their butt. As long as they vote democratic, that's ok today it seems.
</end rant>

Steve, To fix a liberal problem you throw more money at it!

I've always wondered about the concept of a "liberal who's also a fiscal conservative." Even Arnold is being challenged by the media on various issues like CA's worker's compensation and health care programs. "If you really believe in children, wouldn't you support these programs whose expenses drive away businesses?"

What I find laughable is that the CA GOP complains about CA's deficit while good ole Bush runs up the national deficit. What part of hypocrisy do you and steve not get?

What problem do you have with the concept? I'm one, so was Clinton. I wish Bush was.
