A total of 247 people have filed candidacy papers for the Oct. 7 recall election, the secretary of state said Tuesday, as county officials warned of major problems in staging the vote. Ventura was telling Arnold on TV today winning a governorship should be harder than to jump into the legal trappings of a state's dysfunction. He almost said it was unethical. Its turned into a popularity contest. Californians will put Arnold into office because, like Ten, they are sick of career politicians. Arnold is all glam so they will be titillated for the first year or two but when things don't improve much, they'll turn on him.
