Inco, one of the nickel giants in this world, has just announced that they are going to build a 2 million square meter nickel foam plant in China for the rechargeable battery business. That's a lot of batteries. It is interesting that they say that the market for rechargeable batteries are cell phones, digital cameras, and electric bicycles. No mention of hybrid cars or prismatic cells. I can only say that many many people have made fortunes from Stan's inventions. No matter what Energy Conversion Devices stock does Stan will always be a hero in my eyes. Also my Honda Insight is performing very well I am still able to get 104 miles per gallon. That is an amazing number. I talked with a fellow recently who had over a 100,000 kilometers on his car and it was still going strong.
