GZ, I sure do hope you are right since I am invested, like others I am sure, heavily in the stock market. When it comes to our pocket books we surely can agree that we do not care whether it is Bush fighting a war in Iraq, or Clinton sleeping around and lying.

The American people will keep the President around as long as it does not hurt them. Poll numbers mean nothing especially so early in the game of Presidential elections. Remember Dukakis how he went from leading by 17% to getting behind by 15% 6 weeks before the elections and all within a span of six weeks.

This is credit card prosperity. When you max out your credit cards, as Bush and Greenscam have been doing with huge deficits and easy credit, the new items you buy make you feel more prosperous. Some day the bills will show up.
