You wrote a freakin book in answer. I will get to it tomorrow. Last thing i want or wanted is for US to be the only military power in the world. Europe abrogated responsibilities in this area and i am not talking about iraq which we will continue to disagree about. HOw much of your GNP--canada, mexico, france, germany etc should be devoted to military. If you had more clout there would be more deterrence and less need to march. But again if you have become pacifist, thats ok--do the nation building gig. Help us but control that help by doing it with fellow democracies, not the junk states that so often set policy in the UN. Bring them along for the ride but run the ride yourself. YOu can do it and i nominate you marcos to lead the effort. Good nightenstadt. I like alot of your ideas and i appreciate your correct views on most world hotspots. mike
