Terrorists are not attacking the troops in Iraq. It's Saddam loyalists, republican guard and the fedayheen.

The terrorists are currently bombing Indonesia, and are planning attacks world wide. Again, how does the war in Iraq stop terrorism.

A: It doesn't.

You want blogs? You can go to google and search on military family blogs and you will get hundreds of them. I did it and randomly took this as a first sample:

Military Family Blames Bush for Deaths
A sad story about the death of Edward Herrgott:

Funeral services will be held this week in Shakopee for Edward James Herrgott, the first Minnesotan to die in the war with Iraq. Herrgott, a member of the 1st Armored Division, fell victim to sniper fire while on patrol in Baghdad on July 3...

His aunt, Mary, says Americans could best honor her nephew by recognizing the threats U.S. troops continue to face in Iraq.

"We have some issues with the fact that President Bush declared combat over on May 1. Combat is not over. We don't even know who's firing at us right now, and all of our soldiers are at great risk of being picked off as Jim was. And that's a shame. And then President Bush made a comment a week ago, and he said, 'bring it on.' They brought it on and now my nephew is dead."

Bush saying "Bring em on" was stupid and offensive. It's typical of someone that dodged the bullet in Vietnam by hiding behind the silver spoon.

Bush has used the military in this country in an unprecedented way. We should all be concerned about it. When a president acts unilaterally and pre-emptively it should draw wide concern, and it does so first among military families whose sons and daughters are doing the heavy lifting in Iraq. Bush never served his country on forgien soil, and he did his level best to stay out of action. He's a puke.
