You cant have the recall of Davis continue if he is not governator anymore. Again this was suggested to Willie Brown by Bob Dornan and they both agreed that it would kill the recall and thus part B, the election. I dont have a clue but there is logic in not being able to recall a governor who is not there. By the way Brown said they would never do it but Dornan seems like he is expecting it at the last minute. It was also indicated that DiFi didnt get in for this very reason and with only bustante running dems had choices up to the last minute. Mike
