All of the reasons that Bush gave as a need to go to war with Iraq have evaporated. WMD, Uranium, Al Qaeda terrorists...none of it is true.

Iraq was a broken nation led by a morally bankrupt dictator which sadly the US supported and allowed to become very powerful. From selling WMD to Saddam, to providing weapons and intelligence to Saddam during the Iran war, to allowing him to survive the Gulf war, to standing by as he murdered thousands of Kurds and Shia.

But Saddam's ability to wage war on the US was marginal. This is a fact. The imminent need to go to war was not there. Bush's actions were first unneeded, and fully unwarranted.
