The Iraq war and "re-building" remains cost-free. The emerging Iraq will have to flood the world with it's oil (probably why Putin was such a wet blanket about the whole thing), and oil under $25 pretty-much pays for the whole war-and the next several after that. Nevertheless we should always keep in mind that, for a 20-year war that means survival of enlightened civilization, telling the Social Security welfare deadbeats to go pound sand for a couple months would easily cover the entire initial cash flow. In a way, it's too bad we won't be forced into that choice...
