the govt knows that with unemployment claims this high, after YEARS of recession and job loss, means the real picture for unemployment is much worse. So we probably need unemployment claims to be cut in half to really say we are generating jobs. We've lost 3 million since Bush took office and continue to lose 50K/month. Hence, the deficit. Snow is an old crony who should have retired ages ago.
