I was in Aruba, laying on Baby Beach, watching the total eclipse of the sun - it was bliss to me

Wow! That may not be a calling, but it's sure a keeper of a moment.

That's the single best part of travel, IMO. Although it's been more than thirty years, I can still remember riding around for a day or so watching game near the foot of Kilimanjaro. The mountain was obscured by clouds, as it usually is. You could tell it was there because you could see the lower slopes below the clouds at each end of the horizon, but that was it. They said that the mountain usually appeared at dawn so I was up early, staring at the horizon, with camera on tripod, waiting, waiting. And then suddenly there it was. It filled the entire viewfinder. I was just overwhelmed by the magnificence of it. Yep, can still remember that and other similar incidents, perfect moments of joy.
