Kind of reminds me of the federal gov today.

IMO, California is a good example of what happens when there is a monopoly in government and why there should be more than one unified voice on the issues. Kind of reminds me of some third world countries.

IMHO Calif. is a result of a weak Govenor who HAD to rely and pay off SPECIAL INTERESTS to get into and retain power. His weakness is now Californias Bane. Seems to me Californians now see that. jdn
