WA does not have mandatory and CA does have mandatory Workers Comp. LOL, you think the difference is in who funds it vs the freedom of a company to self insure and not have to pay someone else to take the risk.

I can see you don't know what ROE is.

Thanks for making that point, although I don't think the Workers Comp program is the only one that is killing Calif.

We are self insured through a bond. I assume employers are the ones paying state taxes for workers comp?
