Dimly recalling Wagner, i was in NYC for a bit in the fifties btw, pretty young at the time though .... we've all got idiot politicians, it's because we've got short-sighted ignorant lazy idiots for an electorate, by and large, this is a feature of all democracies .... i shall not run, by the way, and if nominated i shall run away, because it would just be too depressing trying to live in a place that would elect me

The other day we were in the piano market, and at one point were looking at a piano once tuned by a Robert Sommers, who has a shop on the Island at Courtenay, very good piano man, but his name is known far and wide here for much more, he was the forests ministre during a huge bribery scandal in the fifties, when moneyed eastern interests came and bought out considerable timber tenure in the province, for about four cents on the dollar, paid in cash in brown bags, some of it .... they called him 'Honest Bob', and he wasn't the worst crook of the time by any means, just the only one to take the rap, went to gaol for it .... anyway, lots of fifties names came up in following conversation, WAC Bennett, Flyin' Phil Gagliardi, a bunch more .... NYC is known for amusing politics, but really BC can be thoroughly entertaining too

Ahhnold will rise or fall on one question - ¿Es bueno pa' La Raza?
