JJ:

LOL!!

Don't worry, be happy. (g)

As I have noted on other occasions, most of us can look back to earlier times in our lives when the available evidence overwhelmingly suggested making a particular move, but we held off, simply because everybody in our cicle of acquaintances held an opposing view. Later, the wisdom of our singularly held point of view turned out to be "spot on" but of course, we missed the opportunity and henceforth regretted not acting on our own intelligence.

I view the market as being in just such a situation. The evidence overwhelmingly supports the fact that the US economy is in deep trouble, that it is stretched to the limit and that in the near term "something has to give". At the same time, the stock market acts as though all is well across the land.

At this end, I'm going with the evidence. I'm short (small, but growing)and I am accumulating decent gold stocks. I believe that within a short time, this "air plant" market will let go with a thud and crater the sheep. I also believe that the buck takes it in the throat within the next few months. And I'm not ignoring the evidence this time as it is just too compelling.
So far, I've been treated reasonably well, so there are no complaints.

Best, Earlie
