The social conservatives are not going to dislike Ah-nuld enough to prevent him from becoming a Republican governor.


Especially in California! The Repubs have been out in the cold watching the Dems put the state into chaos. Bankrupt Utilities, Businesses bailing out as fast as they can because workmans comp is an unfixable disaster. And near Bankruptcy while the Dem legislature partys. They are ready for any way back into power.

Well, it was most likely that split that let Davis win the last time around. Had it not been for that, Riordan would, most likely, have gotten the Rep nomination.

I don't doubt there will be a split; just how bad it is and how much it affects the Boxer vote is another question altogether.
