He pled guilty because he was guilty. You just can't accept the truth. Naturally someone who lionizes terrorists would sympathize a would-be terrorist too. ...did not commit any terrorist acts or associate with any terrorists. Not for lack of trying. In an earlier post, I used the example of one who attempts to hire a hitman to commit murder - such a person would not have committed murder or associated with murderers but is none the less guilty of conspiracy to commit the crime of murder.
