I own Rabbit Proof Fence. I bought it so that I could show it to my students. IT is a truly great movie, combining history, with fantastic movie making.

There have been some really good movies out of Australia touching on the power of aborigines, or on their treatment. I really like The Last Wave by Peter Weir. I can also recommend Dead Heart and Walkabout.
