I see. Maybe bashing was too strong a word. I glanced at your past posts, and they were all negative toward the current Pres. How was that? I just found you to have a rather unique posting history -- many posts, leave for 10 months, many posts, leave for nearly 2 years -- curious is all.

Thank you for pointing out the big job losses etc., very useful stuff I'm sure I never would have known about. <s> Can I assume that you wish to put all the blame for every economic trouble on President Bush? Or are you a believer in economic cycles, and that gov't can really only moderate the peaks and troughs, not get rid of them. If the previous administration had done a little more to temper the upswing, the downswing might not have been as deep, IMO, -- but I'm quite sure that whoever was elected in 2000 was in for a continuation of the downturn begun under Clinton. A look at history tells me that the bigger the boom, the bigger the bust, always. I guess this time could have been different though, we did of course have the "new economy" under Clinton.

It wouldn't have been the unilateral-assured-destruction of the entire Marxist/Leninist anti-American movement in the wake of the failed Clinton era and 91101, would it?

I mean, 80% of us Americans are enjoying the hell out of it. And the best seats in the house are this thread...
