WS,

I'm networked in a small way...2 desktops. I use AVG on one and Trend Micro on the other. I really don't see where/how there'd be a problem downloading and installing AVG on more than one home computer on a small network.

I've never tried it only because Trend Micro was on my old computer and through some weird set of circumstances they never ask me to re-subscribe. I've been getting virus definition updates for 3 years now. They must have accidently put me on a lifetime subscription because they're nice guys.<g>

I use a router for three PCs. Is this supposed to be network environment?

Apparently Avast! has no prohibitions of using it with a network environment. I noticed that my LAN is included to select from when I choose the option to scan folders. I tried it and scans on networked drives work. But no resident protection over the network.
