A back hoe operator certainly is a modern day ditch digger. I suspect that help wanted signs that I was speaking about were for more desirable positions than backhoe operators.

Are you making a differentiation between a "retirement plan" and social security?

On the issue of medical plans, I do not believe that employers should be required to provide such coverage.
