SeachRE. Thank you for that amazingly insightful analysis. After laboring through the details of your post in an attempt to comprehend the complexities of your position, the depth of your reasoning and the "outside the lines" refreshing analysis that you provided, it is now clear to me that General Clark would not be a serious candidate. To be honest, I never considered that he would only get 22 votes but when one as articulate and politically astute as you makes that point so clearly, it must be given credence.

I've forwarded your post to the "Clark For President" people and I suspect that his support will evaporate in the wake of your missive.

Can we find a way to pay our soldiers less so that we can save more money for tax cuts for the wealthy? What do you think of a Bush-Cheney ticket? Thanks in advance.
