I can't bring myself to use the words wealth redistribution and elderly in the same sentence. Perhaps that's where the heartless handle comes from. In the last two years conservatives have signed away $2T in tax rebates to the wealthiest people in America while our social programs languish in apparent fiscal neglect.

There is a definite need for real wealth redistribution in this nation. US assets and wealth are way too much concentrated in the hands of a few.
