you are clueless
GDP never grew more than 2% in USA
what you had was the beginning of huge multipliers in US GDP calculations from faster computers and storage equipment and networks

the multiplier is now up to 20-fold

the US Govt crack team of statisticians could not tolerate in the 1990 decade that computer prices were going down 15-20% per year
the impact on GDP calculations would have been big
so they doubled the sales, reasoning that processor speeds were twice as fast

you fell for it
and still do
have you lost any money since 1998 when the practice accelerated?
guess what?
that is a big reason why
you have not yet figured it out
maybe you never will

I HONESTLY DONT CARE WHETHER YOU DO OR NOT
