Unfortunately, we live in a time of double-speak, where code words are used to promote thinly veiled agendas. I hate it, but it is pervasive throughout the political sphere.

A few decades ago "States Rights," in Southern states, was code for a racial discrimination agenda.

The use of "Family Planning" terminology, in recent decades, is code for government funded abortion on demand agendas.

"Compassionate Conservative" was offered but really didn't take as a standard. I cringed the first time I heard it.

Your term neofascist is code for, anything conservative is a Hitleresque buggieman and Bush's fault; including the post I am responding to. As I have shown this phenomenon of using code words is not unique to any party. c'mon TP, you are an intelligent man with deep and thoughtful convictions. Come out of the theatrical shadows. I'd like to have a good scrap with ya.

but it by the actions and policies that are supported that you shall know them. Fascist is as fascist does.

Forrest Gump meets Joseph Smith. Not bad, those local evangelists must be working hard on you.
