today is another good example of the false sense of security that one gets from using LiveUpdate exclusively.

**IntelligentUpdater released 45 new defs today** (see below). i just downloaded and installed them minutes ago. my definitions are now dated 8/14.

for those who use only LU, new defs were released yesterday, 8/13. if they check for defs today using LU, they will be told that they have the most recent definitions.

but they don't. they only have 8/13. as i said, the 8/14's are currently available. so LU updaters are already one day (and 45 definitions) behind.

tomorrow it will get worse. LU will say they are current with their 8/13 defs, and meanwhile, IU will have released the 8/15 defs. monday and tuesday will compound the situation.

come wednesday 8/20, LU will finally catch up with IU.
