Dealer,

I've seen others on SI recommend Interactive Brokers for quality/speed of execution and price. You may want to check them out.

Please let me know how you like them. They are high on my
list to get my Waterhouse accounts.

Hi Dealer! In the back of my mind, seems I've heard inconsistent reports about Ameritrade, more bad reports lately. There's been a number of articles and surveys about the deep discounters so I could be getting Ameritrade mixed up with another one, though. You could probably find some of those survey articles on the web.

I have heard good things about IB, but only after you learn their site and that it's a bear to learn.

I still use a human for my main account. Pays off sometimes when their is a question or something goes wrong. Just like the other day, I was selling some covered calls and was watching T/S and sort of wondered why I had not seen my order go through given the bid/ask. It was a block of 160 contracts and I would have noticed it on T/S. I called my broker and she called the trader to check and, sure enough, something was wrong. They ended up executing it for 10 cents more. I was a happy customer. I like talking to a human for the options especially.
