I have no complaints with the Post Office. They are as good as UPS in my experience -- and cheaper too. Governments are good at doing some things. They improved after Fedex fought its way into existence to give them some serious competition.

I don't know what DMV is, Shortly after my youngest son turn 16 and got his driver's license, something came up and he ask me what it was like to live in a Communist country. I asked to imagine a country where everything was owned and operated by the Department of Motor Vehicles. He has been a Libertarian ever since. Watch a UPS employee go about his business. Contrast this with watching a postal employee. If you wonder about the difference in working conditions, ask yourself why the expression is "going Postal" instead of "going UPS." :>)
