Jewel, now you write that, "If you simply mean that you want them to have the same working conditions and benefits afforded to non-combatants, then the 'support the troops' comment is empty agendized rhetoric." As you know, we were talking about the hazardous duty pay, the family allowance and whether they should take whatever the Bush Administration sent their way because they "volunteered." You keep throwing more red herrings on the trail. I think your posts reveal your position and that my posts reveal what I did and didn't say. I've come to the conclusion that you're more interested in changing the subject than you are in supporting, analyzing or amending your callous position. Adios.
