Congress is finally starting to speak out. Good old Harry, not a radical, rails on Bush from the economy to the wars.. Powell on the way out, he says.. And I believe it because ole Harry is wired to the inside.....

Reid criticizes Bush’s foreign missteps, ’bad economic policy’

RENO, Nev. — President Bush is in for a hard-fought re-election campaign regardless of who the Democratic nominee is because of serious missteps with the U.S. economy and in foreign policy, Sen. Harry Reid, D-Nev., said.

Bush has turned a huge federal surplus into the largest deficit in history, and led the nation to war in Iraq with a misguided foreign policy that will cost the United States hundreds of billions of dollars and likely cause Secretary State Colin Powell to resign soon, Reid said.

“We are bogged down in Afghanistan. We are in a quagmire in Iraq. There are problems in North Korea and the Middle East. And there is infighting in his own administration as to what to do,” Reid told The Associated Press.

“We all know that Powell is on the way out, it is just a question of when. And for a lot of us, he has been the voice of reason in the foreign policy of this administration,” Reid said in an interview with The Associated Press on Tuesday......... more..
