Re: 2. Maybe 10 billion to rebuild?

Just how ill-informed are you? Paul Bremer, the Viceroy of Iraq put the cost of restoring the electric grid alone at $13 Billion. $16 Billion for the water system. And when you add it all up, over $100 Billion for reconstruction alone over the next three years, exclusive of the $50 Billion per annum to keep the army garrisoned in Iraq. Which figure in itself does not include the cost of death benefits (negligible, a mere rounding error to Rumsfeld) and the cost of equipment and munitions replacement which will also cost in the $10s of Billions.

When you consider that Iraq has the potential to pump, at most $15 Billion per annum in exportable oil for the foreseeable future, you begin to understand how completely upside down and insane the theft of Iraq's oil for Halliburton, Bechtel and a few others truly is.

Not only is Bush a criminal, he's also not very good at math.
