yeah, except that Bush thinks CA is "ripe for the picking" with Arnie as Gov. Right, ahahahhahhahahahhahahha people really hate Bush here.

Remember when Dick Cheney wouldn't allow California to put caps on energy prices and basically told the Golden State to "Drop Dead"? Remember when Ken Lay was Bush's best friend BEFORE Bush decided that he barely knew him and Enron had its way with California? Remember who really made California an economic basket case -- a guy from Texas and his well-oiled campaign financiers, that's who. The crisis in California has "Made in Texas" written all over it. I sure do remember this. However, as lurqer correctly pointed out, Davis spent money the state didn't have even after that energy crisis. Optimism becomes a fault when hopes for an economic turnaround didn't come to pass.
