el windbag: Big Meanie is a heavier boat and needs higher winds (over 15 knots to start to reach its potential). It also depends on the crew and the competitors. Today they are forecasting partly sunny weather -- up in the high 80s...winds from the west at around 10 knots...hope it blows more. Oh well, we'll have fun no matter what.
