so within this cauldon of hatred that the ME has for Saddam Hussein, magically Osama and Hussein managed to forge a pact together against the US, right? Thats what they reported on Fox, after all there was one piece of paper in a hotel room full of millions of sheets of papers with OBLs name covered with white-out

Think about how ridiculous this sounds

If you would like to join the conversation with the adults, there are two requirements. One, a little maturity - i.e. stop taunting like you're still in jr-high. Two, educate yourself so you can make a contribution. Hatred of Saddam had nothing to do with the calling of a jihad, but not having bothered to learn anything about Muslim culture, you wouldn't know that. If you are really interested in learning, start with the Muslim concept of ummah.

If you have anything worthwhile to say, I'll respond. If you can only persist in your juvenile behavior, don't expect a response, or to be a part of the "conversation".

You need to differentiate between the Arab leadership and the Arab people. Many of the "little people" admire Saddam. They are, after all, powerless in their Arab states, where their rulers are a bit despotic and live quite well. Look up the human rights stats on the countries in the ME.

I don't know if they could actually do a poll (one that would have any meaning) in the ME- but if they could, and if they asked who the people admired most, I bet Osama would top the list. Now that is just a guess, but you can tell from the quotes by Arab citizens that many of them admire the man. He is a potent anti-Western symbol.
