Harry any idea on how infows are calculated? Is the quote below trying to say that, "Equity Funds have taken in more cash." The outflow numbers have not been mentioned. Inflow minus Outflow would yield effective flow. As it stands the quote is just bull side propaganda. I don't not see this cash being put to work -- liquidity is declining.

"Equity funds continued to attract investors. Trim Tabs estimated that all equity funds had inflows of $4.3 billion during the week ended Aug. 13 compared with inflows of $400 million in the prior week. And equity funds that invest primarily in U.S. stocks witnessed inflows of $2.9 billion vs. inflows of $1.5 billion during the prior week."
